Abstract
Sex education is the providing of knowledge about body development, sex, sexuality, and relationships, as well as skill development, to assist young people in communicating about sex and making educated decisions about their sexual health. Sexual education is a highly contentious issue in nations such as Pakistan, where any discussion of sexual activities is frowned upon. Nonetheless, it is a country with a high rate of abortions and sexually transmitted diseases (STIs). The general public's current understanding of such topics is likewise quite limited. As a result, it is critical to explore the principles, needs, tactics, and benefits of having sexual education programmes in Pakistan, as well as assess the present impact of the lack of such programmes and public awareness campaigns.
